Who We Are

Accessible Artistic Opportunities To Children

Arts For All offers accessible artistic opportunities to children in the New York City area who face
socio-economic, physical, or emotional barriers to exploring the arts. Through Arts For All, professional artists work with youth organizations to build self-confidence, self-expression, teamwork, resilience, and creativity in children.

Vision

Arts For All is working towards a world in which:

•  All children have equitable access to artistic opportunities
•  All children have outlets to gain self-confidence, self-expression, teamwork, resilience, and creativity
•  All children share in society and are better prepared to face life challenges and opportunities
•  The arts are valued in their own right and as a means of developing skills

Our Story

Arts For All started out as Community Connections- a New York University Club dedicated to spreading awareness of the arts.  Our club’s dedication and service to New York City was honored with the NYU President’s Service Award for Volunteerism and Community Service.  In 2003, Arts For All began working under the auspices of Children With Challenges and, in 2005, moved under the umbrella of World Cares Center. Since December 2007, Arts For All has been an independent non-profit 501c(3) organization, and we have grown to serve over 5,000 children each year. Arts For All is excited to continue our outreach, made possible by your support. You make our vision of serving in-need children through the arts a vibrant reality!

Arts For All respects, values, and celebrates the unique attributes, characteristics and perspectives that make each person who they are. This includes age; ethnicity; gender; gender identity; language differences; nationality; parental status; physical, mental and developmental abilities; race; religion; sexual orientation; skin color; socio-economic status; work and behavioral styles; the perspectives of each individual shaped by their experiences and culture—and more. We also believe that bringing diverse individuals together allows us to collectively and more effectively address the issues that face our communities. It is our aim, therefore, that our partners, strategies, and investments reflect these core values. This applies to those internally associated with Arts For All as well as to all individuals whom our services are provided.
