Arts For All offers accessible artistic opportunities to children in the New York City area who face socio-economic, physical, or emotional barriers to exploring the arts.  Through Arts For All, professional artists work with youth organizations to build self-confidence, self-expression, teamwork, resilience, and creativity in children.

Arts For All is working towards a world in which:

•    All children have access to artistic opportunities
•    All children gain self-confidence, self-expression, and the ability to work in teams
•    All children share in a stronger society and are better prepared to face life challenges and opportunities
•    The arts are valued in their own right and as a means of developing skills

The way in which Arts For All achieves its vision is as important as the vision itself.  Arts For All recognizes that not all children have equal access to the artistic opportunities around them, and that for many, traditional forms of instruction have not enabled the development of their self-confidence or their ability to express themselves.

Arts For All started out as Community Connections- a New York University Club dedicated to spreading awareness of the arts.  Our club’s dedication and service to New York City was honored with the NYU President’s Service Award for Volunteerism and Community Service.  In 2003, Arts For All began working under the auspices of Children With Challenges and, in 2005, moved under the umbrella of World Cares Center. Since December 2007, Arts For All has been an independent non-profit 501c(3) organization, and we have grown to serve over 3,500 children each year. Arts For All is excited to continue our outreach, made possible by your support. You make our vision of serving in-need children through the arts a vibrant reality!
